Okay, okay, so maybe I’m not done with 2012 just yet. After all, it was a great year: our new home half a world away started to actually feel like home, we welcomed in a new member of the tribe, and we went to some amazing places and saw fantastic things. It’s worth revisiting, and the photo challenge for this week is all about taking a look back…in pictures. Here’s mine, and here’s to even more adventures in 2013!
On January 1, 2012, I was watching the sunset on Venice beach with good friends before setting back off to Sydney
February brought the Chinese New Year and this shot from the Twilight Parade
Kimber Lane, a little alley in Chinatown, is one of my favorites in Sydney. In March I brought my camera to capture how it glows at night
April brought ANZAC Day…our first chance to see Australia’s salue to their military
Another goal to check off the list: my feet in the Indian Ocean in Perth last May
I was able to check another continent off my list with our trip to Asia in late June. We started our trip here in Hong Kong
We spent the first part of July exploring Tokyo, including the Meiji Shrine where this photo was taken
August brought a trip back home to St. Louis. This is my favorite quote about the place I love so much
More koala time in September. This time at the Taronga Zoo.
October’s highlight was Sculpture by the Sea on Bondi Beach
November brought a new member of the family: Luna!
December brought fireworks to close out the year and welcome 2013
