Snapshot/Weekly Photo Challenge: Renewal

This week’s photo challenge is all about renewal. The word ‘renewal’ makes me think of giving a new life to old things, and with that in mind I settled on an ‘everything old is new again’ / ‘one man’s trash is another man’s treasure’ interpretation of the challenge.

These photos come from a re-sell shop that Alex and I visited several months ago in the Blue Mountains. I absolutely love antique shops, garage sales, and the like because it’s always interesting to see what kinds of items people had, and what survived. There is something special about each of these items for them to still be around. They could have been lost or thrown out, but instead they have a chance at a second life with someone new.

So for this week’s challenge, I have a few pictures of my favorite items that were waiting for their new owners. Enjoy!

    • Thanks for reading, and yes, please do post some pictures from your Brisbane shopping – I’d love to see them. 🙂 I’ll have to check out the shop by Blackheath – any shop that has/had a skeleton is a shop I want to visit.
